Do's and donts when pitching a media idea.
- Be clear and don't get lost - try to stay on the pitch subject not of trail.
- Prepare, prepare before- film your pitch and watch it back or ask your family to watch.
- Set the scene- include pictures or music instead of talking for ages with no colour.
- The devil is in the detail - make sure that you have all the facts you need, so you know what it is your selling.
- Show your passion- really enjoy the presentation, you need to show that you also like what your pitching.
- Dont go over time- people may loose interest if your pitch is longer than the time given.
- Stay professional- try not to focus on being super friendly due to the atmosphere, stay serious slightly friendly is fine but don't over do it.

- Try not to mumble the audience will struggle to hear.
- Some silence is good instead of using 'urm'
- Give the audience enough time before talking about the next point.
- Dont speak behind on object it will ricochet and the audience wont hear a thing.
- Have confidence in your voice, don't let the audience hear that your nervous.

- Make sure all your points are clear concise and correct.
